Moments of pure joy and love during Kerry and Adam's wedding at the Barn In The Fells, Ambleside, Cumbria.

The day was brimming with moments that warmed the heart, the morning commenced with the delightful chaos of getting ready, a flurry of activity that was as endearing as it was exciting. The morning was so much fun with Kerry and her bridesmaids as the excitment was mounting.
&nbsp;
The ceremony was a beautiful testament to their love. As they exchanged vows amidst the rustic charm of the barn, there was not a dry eye in the room. The speeches were heartfelt, punctuated by laughter and shared memories, creating a beautiful tapestry of their journey together.

The group photos were a riot of joy and laughter, a perfect representation of the couple's vibrant spirit. But as a photographer, the highlight for me was when Adam and Kerry took some time off with their son, Boe. They walked around the beautiful venue, soaking in the tranquility, a stark contrast to the merry chaos of the wedding. Since I ventured into the world of professional photography in 2018, I've been blessed with the opportunity to capture some of the most beautiful moments and memories. Among the numerous venues I've had the privilege to work in, Holesfoot in Cumbria has left an indelible mark on me.
&nbsp;
Nestled in the picturesque Eden Valley, Holesfoot offers a secluded and intimate setting for a wedding. It was here that Fay and George chose to tie the knot. With a capacity to accommodate plenty of guests in the day and evening with space for 60 overnight guests, there was no shortage of love and laughter on their special day. The venue effortlessly combines the beauty of the outdoors with the comfort of the indoors, offering both outdoor and indoor ceremony options.
&nbsp;
The charm of Holesfoot lies in its unspoiled natural beauty. It is situated between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks, boasting its own private grounds spanning over 20 acres. The scenery was breathtaking with a lake, woodlands, and picturesque meadows serving as the perfect backdrop for my photos.
&nbsp;
Adding to the rustic allure of the venue was the option of glamping. As the sun setS, the guests can settle into their cosy tents, the stars overhead adding a magical touch to the night. The barn, with its rustic sandstone walls, huge oak floorboards, and iron chandeliers, oozed a warmth and character that was a delight to capture on camera.
&nbsp;
The Italian garden terrace and the long room offered more fantastic photo and video opportunities. There was something unique and personal in every corner, every stone, and every plant. It was a testament to how much thought and care had been put into the design and upkeep of the venue.
&nbsp;
In conclusion, Holesfoot, with its sublime setting and rustic charm, offers a unique experience that is truly memorable. As a photographer and videographer, I am always in search of venues that are as beautiful as the moments they host. Holesfoot, in all its glory, certainly fits the bill. From grand royal estates to cosy hideaways, these venues are as unique as you, waiting to add their charm to your special day.

The first on our list is the luxurious <a href="https://www.armathwaite-hall.com/weddings/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Armathwaite Hall</a>. Set amidst sprawling gardens and overlooking the serene Bassenthwaite Lake, this 17th-century estate is perfect for a lavish celebration. With its blend of traditional charm and modern comforts, Armathwaite Hall offers a variety of spaces for your ceremony, reception and even a spa for some pre-wedding relaxation.
&nbsp;
For those smitten by rustic charm, the <a href="https://www.cotehow.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cote How Lake District Weddings</a> offers a captivating option. A 16th-century lakeside house set in Rydal, it's an idyllic venue for intimate weddings. Its enchanting meadows, secret garden, and direct lake access provide endless opportunities for unforgettable wedding photography.

With its imposing fa&ccedil;ade, elegant interiors, and breathtaking views of the Windermere Lake, this hotel provides a sophisticated setting for a fairytale wedding.

Unearthing Enchanting Wedding Venues in the Lake District

We chose Dan as our wedding videographer after seeing a video he put together for some friends. Honestly cannot recommend him enough, totally chilled throughout the day, we hardly knew he was there but he went above and beyond to capture our special day and even stayed late into the night to capture our guests having a boogie.
